THE CONQUEST OF THE PENINSULA
History can be tedious, but let´s watch this video that is going to help us to understad the period in which visigoths came into the Peninsula.
Muslims (that came from the north of Africa) fight against Visigoths in the Battle of Guadalete, to conquest the Penisnsula. In 711 AD, Muslims won this battle and they called the Peninsula "Al- Andalus." The capital of the Peninsula change from Toledo (the capital with the visigoth empire) to Córdoba (with the muslims)
