MOORS AND CHRISTIANS

Estamos empezando la Unidad 5 en Social Sciences y para empezar, fuimos al museo arqueológico en el que tuvimos un primer contacto con la materia.

Ahora estamos acercándonos un poco más a la historia, a las formas de vestir y a las diferentes clases sociales que había en la Edad Media. Hemos empezado identificando hitos históricos importantes que nos hacen dividir la historia en periodos con este eje cronológico.

También hemos creado nuestros propios disfraces de moros y cristianos gracias a nuestra auxiliar Chloe. Los utilizaremos al finalizar la unidad para hacer algo muy divertido...pero de momento es sorpresa...

Además ya sabemos en qué tres clases se dividía la sociedad en la Edad Media: clérigo (gente relacionada con la Iglesia), nobleza y campesinos.

We have already started the Unit 5 in Social Sciences. To do that we visited the archeology museum where we could have contact with the topic.

Now we are studing about the way people used to live in the Middle Age, how they used to dress them up or in which groups society was divided ( clergy, nobles and peasants).

We have identified the main stages in our history and the most importat facts in each one thanks to a timeline such as the one above.

Thanks to our auxiliar Chloe, we have also made up our own moors and christians´ costumes to use them at the end of the unit... but this activity is going to be surprise by the moment.... We will see what happen...
